Growing up in Hawaii, I never really experienced changing seasons. It pretty much stays a comfortable 80 degrees Fahrenheit year around, except for an occasional cold day (around mid 50 degrees F. Hey, that’s cold for Oahu!).
The season changes around January. Red flags and yellow caution tape go up around beaches on the North Shore of Oahu. The waves come roaring in. The pro surfers come out. It’s surf season!
Beautiful pictures, we could use some of your 80 degrees in the UK at the moment. Ian.
Thank you, Ian! Hehe, you could take some. I have to admit….sometimes I got tired of the perfect year-round weather!
So powerful.
Yes! I could sit there for hours watching those waves!
Beautiful photos! I find something about the raging ocean incredibly calming.
Go figure…
Thank you! I think the same thing! It’s crazy to see surfers out there in the waves, I wouldn’t last 5 minutes in it.
Beautiful!!!
Super!!!
Pedro
Thank you, Pedro! =)
Stunning shot of the waves. You can almost hear their roar captured their movement.
Thank you! Yes, when I look at these, I remember the little details I heard and felt at the moment I took the photos. I’m glad you can feel it, too!
Brilliant pictures
You are a superlative photographer and I love your pictures
