I came upon these photos I took a few years in West Texas. If you look you can find beauty, even in the desert.
Unfortunately, at the time these photos were taken, this part of Texas was going through their worse drought since The Great Depression.
It reached 34 C (93 F) here in Berlin today! It was hot, but not as hot as Houston summers!
I snapped these photos a few years ago while on a road trip from Texas to California. I didn’t get to explore the park as much as I wanted to. Hopefully I will get the chance to go back again some day!
